Notes On Auditioning
Audition spots will typically be 20 to 30 minutes in length. You will be informed of the length of your spot when you are offered an audition. Please be aware that sometimes on the night itself, the compere may increase or decrease your spot to balance the programme.
Without exception all acts auditioning for Steve Martin Entertainments MUST use their own PA. We want to hear exactly how you would sound if doing a gig in one of our venues.
Please dress for your performance as you would for a gig. We want to see all aspects of your act including your presentation.
Try to show us a cross section of the type of material you perform.
Please bring appropriate publicity and date sheets with you on the night so that our audition panel can use them when considering you for representation.
Please note that the running order of the audition night will NOT be available until you arrive at the audition.
Not all acts that audition will be given work, however we WILL do you the courtesy of letting you know either way. During the week after the audition we will call you personally.
